Denver Nephrology is a single-specialty nephrology group engaged in the practice of medicine in the Denver metropolitan area. The practice has 8 office locations: Aurora (on the campus of The Medical Center of Aurora), Denver (on the PSL/St. Joseph Hospital campus, at Rose Medical Center, and in Lowry), Lakewood, Thornton, Longmont and Lone Tree (on the campus of Skyridge Medical Center). Its nephrologists are medical directors of 19 DaVita outpatient dialysis centers and 5 acute hospital dialysis services. Denver Nephrology has a Clinical Research Division actively engaged in multiple patient-oriented research studies, and also provides the Medical Director duties for Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center’s Kidney Transplant Program. The company employs 25 physicians, 6 nurse practitioners, 1 clinical nurse specialist, 5 registered nurses and 5 research coordinators.

Denver Nephrology continues to set the standard for excellence in the care of patients with chronic kidney disease. We are proud of our recent recognition by the Renal Physicians Association with its inaugural national Exemplary Practice Award. The practice has 8 patient care offices where patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) are seen and attends the care of ESRD patients at 27 dialysis facilities in the Denver metro area (and Burlington, CO). Our Comprehensive Renal Care Clinic (CRCC) was conceived as a means to improve the overall care of patients with CKD, focusing on stages 3-5.
